Pros

Good transport links, nice outdoor space, good music provision, good resources, good parent involvement with extra curricula opportunities and school fairs etc

Cons

Sharing TA between two classes - often pulled away to cover, rubbish behaviour policy: rude children, no open consultation between SLT and staff on timetable or policy changes, heavy packed timetable, over stretched, last minute deadlines, detailed evidence based appraisal, management seem to avoid dealing with difficult staff and it just continues. Children can be arrogant, and it continues because parents don’t support teacher decisions on behaviour. High staff annual turnover. Small staff room, no sofas: big dining table with padded dining chairs. Expected to lead subject with no TLR: lots of meetings.
