Pros
Majority of children are lovely, and on the whole, parents aren't too intrusive.
Cons
Horrendous MAT structure, micro management from SLT, weekly scrutinies which tear a piece out of you for things such as pupils' number formation, very little support for behavioural problems, been refused Specialist support/referrals for pupils that need it then had that child's lack of progress thrown back at me, very unhappy atmosphere, some toxic 'friendships' making the staff room politics quite sour, high staff turnover, treatment of NQTs shocking, well known to the unions.
