Redland Green School

Pros

This school has some of the kindest, most driven students I’ve had the pleasure of teaching. They have activist hearts, care for each other and are I genuinely enjoyed spending time with them and learning from them daily. They are a credit to mankind! RGS has a supportive, friendly team of staff who look out for each other and socialise together, which is such an important part of work-life balance within a school - so often missed by other places I’ve worked in. I had some of the best times of my life working at this school and made some life-long friends there. I can’t help but have a large place in my heart for everyone I experienced those times with while working here. I don’t believe in having regrets, but if I did, leaving RGS would be one of them.

Cons

Not really able to class this as a ‘con’, but this is a high-achieving school and so high expectations of staff are held by management. However, this is balanced by a supportive leadership team who actively listen to staff and constantly review their approaches to ensure everyone gets the best out of their experience there, staff and students alike.
