"Top school for progression"

Positive Aspects

Having worked at the school and at a number of other high performing independent schools, I can truly say that Broomfield is by far been the place that has supported and invested in my career progression the most. The headmaster is kind, experienced and highly respected and goes above and beyond to support the team. The culture of the school is one of high standards but also of autonomy and trust.

"A top school to work"

Positive Aspects

An excellent school to work which has a forward-thinking approach and a genuine focus on staff wellbeing and development. The school has a strong reputation in the local area and staff are given the professional trust and resources to teach in a best practice way. Honesty, it is such a wonderful place to work. The headmaster is superb and leads the school with kindness and a clear vision. Great staff lunches and staff perks too!

Areas for Improvement

The sports fields are off site, but after a short walk, this a really great space.

"Uninspiring"

Positive Aspects

Some of the staff are nice to work with. Nice location

Areas for Improvement

The senior management is severely lacking. The new head teacher does not have experience and most teachers do not respect him. The children do not like him at all as he just can’t relate to them. There are a lot of issues at the school and most teachers who have been at the school for long have left. There are too many limitations under the Dukes management and it is run more as a business only interested in a profit.
